After seven incredible years as a licensed esthetician, it’s time for me to close this chapter in the beauty industry and fully step into the world of body art. As I move forward, I feel more empowered than ever to embrace my artistic potential through tattooing.
I’m excited to announce that I’ve recently begun a deeply meaningful apprenticeship under Tyson Weed, the owner of Sentient Tattoo Collective in Tempe, AZ. Ty is not only an amazing tattoo artist but someone I consider one of the best in the Valley. Learning from him is a privilege, and I’m approaching this opportunity with immense gratitude and respect.
My goal is to grow stronger in a range of tattoo styles, especially realism, a style I’ve always admired. What I find so beautiful about tattooing is that there’s always room to learn and evolve—no matter where you are in your journey, there’s always something new to master. I’m beyond excited for the growth that these next two years will bring as I focus more deeply on honing my craft.
Though I’m transitioning out of esthetics, the knowledge and skills I’ve gained over the years will remain with me. I’ll continue to keep my esthetician license and share my expertise on skin health, which ties beautifully into tattoo care. It strengthens my support to educate clients on how to take care of their skin after a fresh tattoo or PMU service. I might even begin writing and posting content on skin health, it is our largest organ after all, and it helps to understand how we can keep our skin healthy for the most optimal healed tattoo results.
While my primary focus is now on fine line, geometric, and ornamental tattooing, I’m still offering powder brow services for those in need of fresh brows or corrections. I will take clients for other styles in body art once I have gotten some mastery down in those skills.
I want to thank everyone for your continued support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the trust and encouragement of my clients and community. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of being an artist but didn’t always know how to channel that passion. Now, I truly feel like the Universe has aligned to give me this opportunity to express my creativity in a deeper, more meaningful way. I’m ready for this next chapter and can’t wait to see where it leads.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
